Eddie & Jenny: The Blues Musical

Eddie and Jenny find themselves alone, surrounded by ‘shadow people’ who, like them, lost their way. 

​Directed by Leah Townley, with music composition and direction from Danny McAvoy, Choreography from Lee Rath and Production Design by Belle Mundi, Eddie & Jenny is a new and completely original musical theatre production, debuting with 2 performances at Exeter Phoenix on the 18th June 2025, with support from Arts Council England.

Eddie & Jenny is a love story that explores themes of homelessness, substance dependency and mental health issues, with a 12-strong cast representing all the challenges that the shadow people face as they try to get their lives back on track. ​​

To ensure the story’s themes are presented accurately and sensitively, the team are working in partnership with 3 charities who’s mission it is to support the real shadow people struggling everyday with addiction issues, homelessness and poor mental health,

  • The Amber Foundation – Discover how Amber supports homeless young people

  • Julian House > Find out how Julian House helps the homeless
