Moretonhampstead Food Festival Returns for Fifth Year

The much-anticipated Moretonhampstead Carnivals local Food and Drink Festival is back for its fifth year, promising a delightful day for food enthusiasts and families alike. Scheduled for Saturday, 17th August, from 10 am to 4 pm, this event will once again transform Cross Street into a bustling hub of culinary excellence.

Building on the success of previous years, the festival will feature many beloved vendors such as Desi Junction, Baskervilles Ice Cream Parlour, and Dartmoor Chilli Farm. Attendees can look forward to sampling the finest local food and drink that Devon has to offer, with a diverse range of exhibitors showcasing their best products.

All proceeds from the festival will support the Moretonhampstead Carnival, which in turn benefits local charities.

In addition to the gastronomic delights, the festival will feature live music throughout the day, enhancing the lively atmosphere. This element was introduced last year and has quickly become a favourite among festival-goers.

Entry to the festival is free, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy. For convenience, there are two public car parks in Moretonhampstead, with additional parking options clearly signposted.
