DESCRIPTION:An evening of discussion and inspiration: five of our artists explore the myriad ways that Devon shapes their creative practice. \n\n\nFrom the tangible\, physical environment and everyday experience\, to the more emotional realms of memory and feeling\, and the magic of the imagination. What is it about Devon that draws so many artists here\, and inspires so much creativity? \nWe invite five of our exhibiting artists\, to share how Devon has influenced their art. Working across a wide range of subjects\, materials and practices\, each bring their own perspective on what it means to be inspired by this place. \nFeatured Artists\n\nFrancesca Dawson\nDavid Morgan\nMarie Rose\nRachael Bennett\nMandi Street\n\nWhat to Expect\nGet to know the artists behind the work. The event begins with our artists each introducing themselves and their work / practice. Then co-hosts; exhibiting artist Matt Calder and artist-curator Lucy Malone\, will initiate a Q&A\, aiming to foster reflective\, open conversation\, and welcoming questions and input from the audience to the discussion. \nRefreshments\nA bar will be open throughout the evening\, serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks\, alongside delicious mini savoury tarts handmade on-site by Spoonful of Plenty. \nTicket Options\nConcession (Discounted) — £5 \nLimited availability—if sold out\, please join the waitlist as more spaces open when Pay It Forward tickets are purchased. \nStandard — £10 \nStandard ticket for the event \nPay It Forward — £15 \nStandard entry for yourself\, plus a contribution towards a place for another member of our community. \nStandard + Drinks & Nibbles Bundle — £20 \nIncludes standard entry\, a drink of your choice (wine or beer)\, and a plate of 5 mini savoury tarts. \n(Pre-booking guarantees your food.
