Michelin-starred chef to host pop-up in Beaford championing local produce.
A former Michelin-starred chef is bringing his five-mile food challenge pop-up to the Globe Inn in Beaford.
Luke Fearon will be hosting an evening of untamed, fine food which challenges chefs to find as many prime ingredients as possible within five-miles of the venue.
This keeps the menu hyper-local and hyper-seasonal and links diners with local producers, farmers and food heroes.
The Globe Inn will be hosting the six-course, set meal on Saturday, May 26, with Luke headlining the event.
The menu will be a taste of Beaford and celebrate the spring produce within the area with dishes like River Torridgetrout with Hallwood Farm, asparagus and hay-smoked Taw Valley cream.

“At the Globe, seasonal and local produce is on our menu all of the time but Luke is going to take this up a level.
“With his expertise and creativity, he’s going to give people an experience they’ll get no-where else.
“It’s going to be a true taste and celebration of spring in Torridge.”
